Abstract

The existing corona virus pandemic reminds us of the need to protect humans from health threats, climate change and environmental issues. The inequality due to environmental degradation and climate change impact leads to economic loss and public health threats globally. All these aspects have accelerated crises and has created business as unusual in the world. This volume addresses global current issues linked to climate and environmental degradation such as climate, energy and societal vulnerability and climate change feedback on Pine plantation in Eurasia. Other papers address the simulation of Indian summer monsoon models along with visual evidence of impact on cloudburst and Thermokrast lake condition in Leh followed by Arsenic mobility under warming climate.
